Telkom Internet Billing Run

Hi there guys

I'm a new ADSL subscriber and use Telkominternet ISP. I was told that the billing run is from the 18 to the 17 of the next month. Is this in all the cases the same or different per group of clients??

The reason why I ask is because I got my ADSL on the 15th of December. When I got my invoice I saw that I got billed the full amount for 3GB from the 18th of November to the 17th of December and another for the 18th of December to the 17th of January.

Does that mean I lost the 3GB of the previous month? I mean, I only used about 300MB or so. Although I used around about 4GB since the 18th of December until now.

That's how it works, if you get an additional 3Gigs on the last day of the month you effectively have 1 day in which to use/abuse it. It's a use it or lose it policy.

Billing is the same: 17th - 17th including your dsl. Bandwidth is monitored from 30th (midnight end of month) till midnight end of next month. You lose any unused bandwidth (and yes I suppose they expect you to pay for it though unused, your first month.)
