Telkom Internet slow and high latency

My Telkom account has been fast here still no hiccups noticed.

What DNS' are you using in your router or is automatically assigned?

Heya Ichigo, i live in PMB area aswell. As of last week ive been experiencing high latency when playing LoL on the EuW servers. My ping was usually 210ms but now it fluctuates from 320 upto and over 1000ms. i have a 4meg uncapped advanced data line with telkom. My download speeds are 3.2megs/sec and download 410kbs....latency in sa is 20ms so i dont know what to do? telkom says everything is fine but only from last week ive been having high latency. they did some upgrades last week so maybe you got some advice for me or anyone else can help me out?

I'm having the same issue , I first called afrihost and they made me do a whole bunch of speed tests that i already did restart router then they told me to do a open server speed test and told me it was on telkoms side so i logged a fault with telkom and within a day a guy phone me and told me to reset my router and he told me he re-disigned my network or something along those lines and my latency dropped from 987 ms to 60 ms constant for a day after the day had passed it was back to 600-900 and has been like that since i've logged a fault again , tho Afrihost says its to do with the poor servicing of the exchanges and congestion(high traffic)
