Telkom Internet Usage Tracking Tool

Where do uncapped users see which usage profile they're on (green/orange/red or whatever)? See attached image to see the tool that I see.TItracker.jpg

We did major changes in platforms in February. While we will be restoring some of the older functionality, we have been focusing on doing things we couldn't do on the older architecture. So, for example, the free Social Media, Night Surfer etc., which are now displayed on the tracker under Add-Ons. Taking these changes into account, it doesn't necessarily make sense to just show total up/down per day over the past month (or similar), as this doesn't relate directly to how your quota is used.

Also, other projects within Telkom may change how/where the usage is displayed within a few months, and we need to understand the technical capabilities of platforms outside our sphere of influence, otherwise we may end up spending a lot of effort to restore the functionality only to lose it a few months later.

Is there any way where we can now check what Night Surfer Data usage we are currently on for the month. I see that the Addons section in the Telkom Usage Tracker Tool was removed? I am on 4mb adsl uncapped account at the moment and would like to closely monitor my Night Surfer Data usage and make sure its not eating into my " unofficial " 100GB " Softcap " in peak hour times unofficial limit.. I currently use the Telkom Usage Tracker Tool but its not that helpful, has no number value for current usage as a percentage or data downloads, bit of a waste if you ask me. Apart from this the only other option is to use the SAIX tracker site which is handy but does not give me the ability to see specifically what the night surfer tracker usage is...

What options from Telkom are there?

:confused: Addons is still there for Softcap accounts:

... it has never been available for Uncapped accounts.

From my experience it's a moving target based on your usage pattern, stay well south of maxing out your line with VoD and torrents during normal hours and it's amazing what you can achieve.

Thanks for the update.

Im fairly new on Telkom ADSL.

I see your point, so the addons section on usage tracker is only for Soft Cap accounts and not for Uncapped accounts.....
That is rather s***!!

So on an uncapped account there is no way via Telkom stats to specifically monitor night surfer data downloads within the month?
From my observations thus far, when I dl 100GB or more during a month specifically only within the PEAK period I then get throttled like donkey. I am just trying to test my night surfer downloads as its seems to be bundled with all usage on SAIX site...

Will also have to test that connection, where to start a connection after 00:00 and download and then do the same before hand and compare usage..... see if that really makes a difference in the end.
 
Are both the SAIX and the TiTracker down right now? The SAIX tracker doesn't accept my login details, and the TiTracker gives me an internal database error.
