Telkom is a disgrace

ADSL was due in Napier last year sometime. Then they say mid feb then it was 30 June now its all of a sudden 30 September. When are they going to get there dam act together and sort themselves out? The guy said on the phone just be patient. I said I have been patient for over a year now and now my patience is running a bit thin.

@ saffers - we all are fed up with telkom.

Instead of looking at their ADSL offerings, why not look at WISPS? (Wireless ISP's)

That's how a monopoly does business, my darling - get used to it.

*Mind you, I don't think Napier will get the mighty Telkom excited - not enough profits to be made there.

but poffadder is smaller than us and they have adsl. bredasdorp is a mere 15km away and they have had adsl 4 over a year now. i know a lot of people who have been waiting 4 adsl 4 just as long as i have and they r running big businesses. i will check out the wireless around here.
