I was having trouble at the beginning of this month, and to try work out what the problem was I subscribed to SAIX, I subscribed on 1 or 2 July.
I told the telkom person on the other side that I would only probably want the account for 1 month, the response was that as soon as I want to cancel I just phone up and it can be cancelled immediately ... OK all great ...

Today I get my electronic Telkom Bill, I have been billed for my internet, fine
BUT
12 JUNE - 11 JULY
12 JULY - 11 AUGUST !!!
FULL price ...

I was not told I would be billed double, and how can they bill me from the middle of the month is the service is provided from beginning of the month to month end !!
 
Next time do it through a SAIX reseller, like "all you can eat" or something, don't go directly to the devil :)
 
DGremlin: phone 0800 DSL DSL and complain. they will sort you out.

i'd rather go with Telkom ISP because they allow you to go over your 2GB/3GB cap.. most people are able to get about 10GB from them ;)
