TELKOM ISP - Lord help me

I bit the bullet and upgraded my existing ADSL package with Telkom to a 4mbps uncapped. Anyone have any experience with this package...? Good, Bad, Good luck to you?

Can't talk for the 4mb, but i have the 2mb and its awesome.

Thanks guys, we'll see how I fair. To date I've only had one hiccup with Telkom and it only took 6 weeks to fix! Not bad lol

Live in Lonehill, tried the 4mb line. best I was getting downloads of max 0,86. The downgraded to a 1mb line and was still averaging 0.86. But have now tried a couple months later tried a 2mb line and checked last night and I was getting download speeds of 1,60mbs

What! I live in Lonehill, by the Straight. Im currently on a 2mb line getting download speeds of 196kbs. Put in my order yesterday for 4mbps line, crap. Well I'll just have to wait and see

I upped from 1MB to 2MB and now I want to shoot myself in the face. Roughly 15% of my traffic is just DROPPED and every 30s I get a spike in latency which goes from +-16ms to +-1000ms (local).
