Telkom line down

Here's an odd one.

My line's been really dodgy lately, but generally able to get a connection.

Last night at around 9 PM, it lost all connection, phone, DSL, alles.

I have two lines into the house on the same drop box, so either it's a problem where something's blown somewhere, or the cable from the drop box ( Which was replaced a month ago ) has died.

Is that all that could be wrong ( I mean regularly, not looking for 1/1000 chance things, I'd like to cover the most likely resolutions first )

That happened to me a while back, it was somethig to do with corroded connection to the house. They just replaced it and everything worked fine. Maybe that can help. Not sure if its the same issues.
