telkom line installation - absolutely useless

Hi All,

/Rant

we moved into our new place on 1st May, we ordered our ADSL about 2 weeks before this.

thye have scheduled 3 times to come install the line, each time us needing to arrange someone to take the day off etc to be home for the "whole day appointment".

The first time the technician came, was there 5 minutes, said he had to go check the box and never returned. We had to call to find out the line was damaged and they would reschedule.

The second time they came there was still a line issue, after specifically verifying when making the appointment that there was no line issue.

Yesterday no one pitched, after calling we were told there is a line issue and the technician should have informed us.

I mean seriously wtf, how much airtime must we waste, how many days do we need to take off.

Do i have to bribe a telkom technician to get decent service?

does anyone have any advice that can help me sort this issue out?
