Is anybody aware of the Telkom line speed specs changing? I logged a call with them earlier this week, as my 4Mbps line was only syncing at 3327Kbps down and 508 Kbps up. Just got a call from a consultant, saying "you have to add the two together to get to the 4Mbps, so the speed is right". As far as I had it - it was 4096Kbps down and 512 Kbps up all along. It has also been working fine at that speed until about a month or two ago.

Does anybody have a link to the specs? The Telkom website is very marketing related "fast, faster and fasted" instead of real numbers.

That is exactly what I told her. I have been a DSL customer for 10+ years. Did get her name, though...
