Telkom lines down in Weltevreden park?

HI guys,

I just wanted to find out if anybody else is having problems with their telkom lines in the Weltevreden Park (gauteng) area. Our Telehhone line went down sometime yesterday (06/10/2011) and from last night until now it is completely dead no ring tone, no adsl /nothing....

also my wife phoned Telkom help desk and the numb nut said he could not see our router :wtf:. If the line is not working how was he going to be able to see the router anyway?

Similar experience here last night, but only affected ADSL line & only for about 1/2 hour.
Contacted Telkom & the guy confirmed there was some scheduled maintenance, but he didn't say how long for - only that it was in the evening.
Hope you get it sorted out soon.
