Has anyone noticed telkom has increased the hell out of there LIT bundles

I suppose it was to good to last

I saw the changes and wondered WTF. If they wanted to add the other 1 day and weekly LIT they should have but not increased the monthly prices. 50GB went up from R223 to R350 and a reduction in data to 25GB.

So basically buying a FreeMe 5GB for R305 is better than the new LIT bundle because it includes 10GB Music and 25GB video LIT.

Jip I don't think this possibility of the merger of telkom and mtn is going to serve anyone well

Strangely enough the 10gb music data for R100 works for video most of the time or at least it works for me

New bundles include Netflix ZA for what it's worth...

Before you buy the bundle on the USSD menu it shows the list of services that are supported.
Its a filthy lie! They don't support Netflix, they never have. That list has included Netflix from the beginning but if you try to use the bundle on Netflix it'll just chow your regular data. I've been through it with telkom about this and they insisted they support Netflix and only after i spoke to Netflix myself(they don't even know Telkom) and confirmed it did they change their tune. They even denied that Netflix is listed in their supported apps. Don't trust them, there's no Netflix

It was supported then they pulled it because netflix does not want to approve the telkom lit box. Now with the new bundles netflix IS supported I tested it.

Buy a new simcard and load a streaming bundle. Then go to netflox.com and see that it does indeed load the page and videos. So if it wasn't supported then I would have been redirected to the oob page but that is not happening.

I'd have to see it to believe it. I'm done with telkom at this point, it's not worth the hassle
