Just want to check if anyone knows what am SDC is and the timeline to fix it. Telkom just confirmed that our local SDC was damaged.

Do you know how it was damaged? Taken out by a motorist, cable theft, Lightning, etc.?

The SDC is a street distribution cabinet, the final point between your copper cable connection and the exchange.
