Hi all,
I am new to this page. We had a data contract with Telkom till end December. We where planning to move over to an independant ISP Wirulink. They came put and told us we do not have reception due to reasons.
Any case, this left me to go back to Telkom as they are the only ISP that still provide uncapped internet. Arriving at the Telkom branch, I told them I want to take out the bussiness uncapped package coming with a Huawei B535-932 LTE router. So they checked my address and told me LTE is not available in our area.
On my previous router I picked up 4G and on our Vodacom cellphones we even pick up LTE at our home.
The lady told me that not even ADSL would be an option as they do not install ADSL any more. I do apparently have VDSL in our area.
So now I am a bit baffled. On the MTN and Vodacom coverage maps it indicates we have LTE coverage. But apparently only VDSL on Telkom. As indicated previously, I was able to connect and even stream on the previous Telkom contract, so I dont understand.
Will this particular router be able to 'fall back' on a 3G network if the LTE network is not available? I do connect to 4G which I understand is some form of LTE. I do not want to take out this contract if the router is LTE 'fixed'
I also need uncapped as I do a lot of my bussiness online. We stay in the Meyerton area, Riversdal part closest to Meyerton.
I will appreciate your advice.

Regards - Albert
