Telkom LTE Signal Booster?

Telkom recently advised that they are no longer repairing or replacing damaged DSL lines in my area and recommended that I move over to their LTE services. However it seems that my home is at the edge of their LTE coverage as the speeds I get vary from 1mb to 15mb (averages around 4mb on a good day). Telkom sales on 10213 advised that they offered LTE signal boosters but I have to get them in store. However when I went to the Telkom store at the Liberty Midlands Mall in Pietermaritzburg, the staff there did not see to have a clue as what a mobile/LTE signal booster is. Does anyone know if Telkom does offer these devices and if so, how does one get them.

Not sure about Telkom's price but I would recommend looking at the Poynting LTE antennas. The antenna connects to your router. Make sure the antenna covers your specific ISP's frequencies.

Thanks for the advise. Is there anyone that can advise in terms type of antenna and where to get them ^_^

Hi. I tested Vodacom and it is extremely slow. Mtn works but seems very unstable. Their coverage maps say there is no LTE coverage. Telkom is more stable but the speed is slow.
 
You can find decently priced pontying antennas as more people get fibre installed... Checkout the classified on here or carbonite
 
National shutdown. Thanks Telkom for deciding to stop supporting adsl in my area now and also for not providing any alternative solutions. Perfect timing....
