In short, emailed some roleplayers regarding adsl in Mandini. Was also interviewed on the Wendy Knowler Consumer Watch program on East Coast Radio.

During the interview Xolisa Vapi commited himself to Cloetesville and Mandini having ADSL by September 2005.

Since then I have been keeping abreast with the progress in Mandini. On Monday I was told that Mandini has been taken of the list by "someone" and that ADSL rollout for Mandini will not be this year or even not next year.

Can you believe that? I have sent mails to Xolisa Vapi and to Dr Sharon Horton for their response but they have not/wont respond.

So it seems that Telkom are just lying bast$%^&*. They lied on East Coast radio to the public.

Whereto from here? Any ideas?

email or phone the new Telkom CEO. seriously, push like hell till yuou are put through to his office and keep phoning until you get to speak to him.
second, contact Wendy Knowler and tell her about this - she will do a follow up on air guaranteed.

Also, maybie rpm can help. It seems that he does have contact with Xolisa Vapi. Perhaps Mr Vapi will speak to rpm as it seems he is not interested in speaking to me?
