Telkom Marconi Router Difficulties

Hi.

My router is giving issues, it wont let me connect over dhcp with the correct wep it times out, it however says connected if i change the default gateway and assign myself an ip manually yet nothing responds to pings or tracert, is it an issue with the router , turned mac address filtering on and off over lan and changed my wifi cards mac, this did nothing, any advice on how to get my wifi to work again?

Junk it and buy a proper router.

Macaroni's a big load of shirt. Lots of people have issues with it.

Macaroni routers are good for only 1 thing, and i'll let you know as soon as I find out what it is

Joking aside, anyone had this issue.

Joking aside, anyone had this issue and know how to resolve it would resetting the router work perhaps or unplugging power and leaving it for a while.
