After a fight of several weeks against the monstrocity of inability, Telkom calls this morning

We have a request to move your phones. Where are your offices?

Client tells them you should know it from your systems.

Yes, but I can't access that part of the system!

Build a country with such service!

Ah, yes, Telkom and addresses ...

I asked a client's Telkom account manager for a Frame Relay quote for a project we're planning for them, after getting the neccesary addresses. Only to be told that the addresses doesn't matter. We need to supply them with GPS coordinates for all the endpoints involved. So off to get the GPS coordinates tomorrow ... means I have to drive there to check it.

can't you check it with google earth? then again it might not be accurate...

Heh, I was actually considering that, to be honest. But as you said, the accuracy may not be quite there. Then again, some GPS devices aren't that accurate either.
