Telkom Mega 100WR router wireless PROBLEMO!

My router has worked fine for 3 months then suddenly seems to have a wireless signal problem. I could connect at a range of up to 15 metres and now I have to be within 1 meter of the router to get a signal!

I have tested it with an Ethernet cable connection and this works fine.

I have not moved the router from it original position.

I have checked the antenna connection.

Its not making any funny noises.

All the lights are on and it seems to be functioning as normal.

I have rebooted it countless times to no avail.

Could a household appliance be causing any interference?

Anyone have the same issues?

I can't see that any house hold appliance could cause any problems as the router works entirely on its own frequency. Unless you have an appliance that interferes with that frequency, you won't have any problems like that.

It is most likely the router itself
