Hi,
I 'self provided' my fathers Telkom Mega 100wr router in August last year, and turned off wireless because he had no wireless devices. On Friday he got himself a wireless laptop.
I have tried to re-enable the wireless connection on the router, but the wireless light refuses to come on even after enabling the AP in the router's setup and "following the on-screen instructions" and the laptop cannot find the router.
I have tried re-configuring the router from both IE and Firefox, but no joy. Have also done a 'hard reset', but that doesn't turn on the wireless either.
I see there is new firmware available for the router, but the release notes don't mention anything about this problem, so I would rather leave that until I have exhausted all other options.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Phaedrus
