Hi, I'm a newby. I have a Telkom Mega200VWR wireless router that I am trying to configure as an additional access point to connect to my Multimedia box (PlayTIME) which is located with my Home theatre system.
My wireless ADSL router is a Netgear DG834GT. I know that I must give the Telkom router the MAC of the Netgear as well as the SSID and an IP in the same range as the Netgear. I am however having problems setting the IP address, as it is in the 10.*.*.* range and I need one in the 192.*.*.* range. Every time I apply and save changes, the Telkom router does not allow me to access it. Could somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong. The telkom router is basically a Billion BiPAC 7300VGP with Telkoms firmware.
