Telkom messing with my P2P traffic!!

Hello!

When I tried to download a torrent earlier, I noticed that there is 0 DHT-nodes! So, I immediately blamed Telkom, my ISP for blocking torrents..

Signed-up for a 5GB WebAfrica trail, and BAM! my torrent is downloading!! So I am really upset with Telkom at this moment..

Would like to know if anyone else is also "suffering" from this..

Telkom shapes Torrents during office hours - after hours its OK so if you were downloading from 7AM to 11PM its crap 11PM to 7AM it flies.

NZB's are slow, getting 40kbs/ on Usenetbucket, on a 4MB/s line!!

It sounds to me like you have larger issues then.

This sounds like your line is being throttled/shaped. Did you do a speed test?

This is the maximum speed I'm getting on a newsserver... The movie I am downloading is 4.5GB...
