Telkom messing with my P2P traffic!!

Nothing there says you're throttled.
You seem to have a line issue.

Try not to overreact before actually figuring the problem out.
 
It is syncing at 4096kbs down and 512up, SNR is 368 down and 170 up.. Will post screenshot now
 
I use Grab it Jeeves for my torrents, i cant tell you if it works for Telkom yet - they *hopefully installing the line tomorrow.

have you Considered Netflix (if you using torrents for series) that i know works like a bomb set up for my brother last week

If you are with Telkom you can use their news servers but they give you limited connections and have a low retention. Might be worth a try.
You can also get limited trial accounts which you can use and just keep rotating them, will have to google this.

There's a news server thread here somewhere where people mention what they use, what's good and what's crap.
 
I use saix every now and then but as mentioned above, it limits your throughput due to limited connections.
I like usenet bucket because imo it is super cheap at R49/m.
 
P2P downloads running at 290kb/s - 360kb/s during the day!! Becomes a bit slower at night, to approx 190kb/s.. But it's still quite fast!! After all, Telkom isn't that bad! Standing on 135GB in 6 days (have the ADSL for a week tomorrow) and still no throttling on a 4mb/s. Just called them and they "fixed" my line from their side!!
