Telkom mobile connectivity issues

I received nothing on all my sim cards. This must be a Mo'nice style apology.

They're probably rolling it out - only half of our phones received it.
 
Wonder if the uncapped LTE sims will also receive it? :crylaugh:

Telkom has restored a hardware outage in one of our systems which affected services on Friday, 3 August 2018. We're sorry for any inconvenience. We have loaded 1 Gig so you can say sorry, thank you or I love you to the one you missed on Friday. Valid for the next 2 days only.

think all telkom mobile customers will receive the data. its not confined to certain customers. telkom has to be fair and treat all the customers the same. anyways its a gesture of good will. loyalty should be thanked.
 
no signal here in sandton/rosebank area :( completely dead. i'm on a freeme 2gb package.
Anyone else ? or is it just me. i used to restart the phone and that usually brings the signal back but nada now.

its now completely dead :( luckily i have a dual sim phone and have a pre paid mtn sim active which i'm getting full signal on.
not sure whats going on with telkom but its basically useless right now, no throughput what so ever.
 
and its back although now its only half the full signal :wtf: better than nothing i suppose
 
I'm roaming on MTN. Data thru put is non existent. TM data seems to be fine.
 
Looks like it is getting worse, contrary to Telkom "fixing" the problem a couple days ago, rebooting no longer works.
 
Telkom has not fixed anything,everyday for the past few days I cannot access the internet,it only starts working around 7 in the evening,it is becoming frustrating,I'm not the only one who has that issue, their Facebook wall has full of posts from other customers who are complaining,I'm tired of Telkom now,I think it's time I moved to Rain mobile

I've rebooted my phone 3 times so far today. Really frustrated with Telkom lately.

I'm thinking of moving from a vodacom Contract to telkom contract, but seeing all these connectivity issues I'm really wondering if the cheaper contract is really worth the hassle with telkom.

Anyone in CPT with telkom that doesn't have any issues?
 
My telkom mobile data has been unusable from last night.

What are the best channels to contact support?
