Telkom mobile data expiring in 31 days?

I recall there was a huge deal about data expiring and operators were going out of their way to make sure that data does NOT expire within a month. I remember buying data earlier this year from FNB and it was going to expire months ahead.

Today I tried to load some new data and I see that all the options say "Valid for 31 days". What is going on now?!

Telkom is perhaps one of the exceptions where data bundles remain valid for 61 days instead of the stated 31 days. Check their online flyers/posters/charts for confirmation.
