Once you reach the allocated bandwidth threshold 10 gig, the connection gets throttled to 128 kb/s

It's unlimited data cause you won't get charged extra! Just slower speeds. MTN have the same implementation on their new package.

087 numbers everyone must pay for, think it's called sharecall or something.

That's why I am asking here on a broadband forum.
I need to know the negative aspects not the advertising propaganda.

Well, Telkom Mobile's advertising is actually information and not propaganda.

With the Unlimited package you can make unlimited phone calls, send unlimited smses, internet is full speed until you've used up 10GB, after which it will be throttled. And that's basically it.

Majority 087 - if not mistaken they are VOIP numbers! Premium rates. Companies convert their numbers to 011/031/021 etc then you get billed as premium rates. Even though u on that Telkom unlimited call rate.

Well, 10GB is the best you can get right now, as Telkom has reduced their 5GB data bundles to 2GB.

Makes me ecstatic for taking out the SmartPlan 150 package last year.
