Has anyone seen the new and improved ADSL usage tracker? All I can say is, I'm impressed. I'm not sure how reliable it is as of yet, but it gives a lot more information, including cumulative and detailed views of your downloads and uploads on a daily basis. Now if only Telkom can increase the cap (I hit 8GB downloads/uploads without even trying - that was just normal browsing, checking flash animations, downloading trailers, etc.), improved capped speeds and remove the port prioritization they may have a winner on their hands. (Oh, and of course reduce the cost! ;p)

They will be stupid not to read this forum (but I know that they do
. As I have told Telkom and the media before, we are doing their job for them. All problems appear here first, and by reading the postings they can develop products that will suit their users. They just spend a great deal of money on a Markinor survey, which they could have used to improve their service according to what we told them all along.
I think your other proposals are great…hope Telkom employs you to improve ADSL

I just saw the new and improved tracker a few minutes ago. It is a great improvement. The pervious one didn't tell us much and it was rather unprofessional.
And yes, I agree - Telkom is definitely reading this forum - they would be stupid not to.

I think it was meant as a kind of veiled thingy but in fact I see it as very positive that they do actually care what we say and how we say it. So...power in numbers? YOU BET.
Do you know, we represent almost 10% of the ADSL customers in SA?
