Hi peeps

So I've recently moved, and have to get my Telkom line installed...

The complex I stay in has telephone lines but there is no line going to my unit.
So the Telkom technician was there and told me to get an electrician to come put in a draw line and pull the fish tape wire through to my unit and then they will come back and install.

I checked and there is already a draw line... is this not Telkoms responsibility to pull the line through themselves?
I mean why do I need to get an electrician to lay a Telkom line? I've already paid the R700 installation fee and now I need to pay an electrician to do Telkoms work?

Does anyone have any information about this?
Would be greatly appreciated as Ive been struggling with this issue since mid December and its getting to the point of throwing someone in the face with a watermelon. LOL

Use knives, tends to work better with Telkom techies.

You could try to motivate the techie with a personal bonus to install the line

No. In a complex or estate it should have been done by the developer, if not then the body corporate.
