telkom pin and modem question

went a clients house modem wont dial

when i dial a number it then asks me for a pin which i put in and press #

i then tried to get the modem to do it by number,,,,pin i also tried with a hash but nothing is that the correct way to do it?

Hmm.. I seem to recall something about W being wait or something.

Try <number>W,,pin

There is an easy way to do it.

> Modem settings
> New connection or edit old connection
> Dailing Rules
> to access an outsite line. (add code here)

Or in the Use this carrier code to make long-distance calls\ internatioal calls ( you can add here 2)

If that does not work, because im not sure which on i normaly use (its been a while... ahh 56k) You have an option called Calling card (also in the same place as the above). You can make a new one and add account number and Pin under there. (Try this one 1st i think its this option)
