Telkom: Prices will come down

Why should anyone drop their prices? Everyone here just happily keeps paying premium for bad caps and bad lines.

If all the consumers can do is create a forum that was suppose to help inform people (and now is just a place that reposts articles and have people sitting around complaining about things), so what? They might think they some sort of bark, but lol, they definitely don't have anything.

+1 - Action speak louder than words.

Why won't anyone start using militant tactics? Is more of a reasonable question.

Any mercenaries frustrated with their p2p porn connection out there?

Why militant? Those threats from the ANCYL against Nandos and the like were even more humourous than sitting around and typing up how bad things are.

MyBroadband was started as a forum to keep track of what is good and bad, and to help out to get things sorted. At the moment it's nothing else but repeated articles that you can get off any other technology website. The only ISPs that are recommended here are the guys with the most forum members, or the ones that are sponsoring the forum.

If ICASA is doing a crap job, go out and tell them. If Telkom and others are overcharging you, cancel your account. Paying the bill every month is acceptance of what they are doing. Posting on a forum is not going to make a difference as they don't even know this place exists anymore.
