OK, I know this has been discussed / debated before and there were many different opinions on the matter at the time, so here goes ...
I have a 4 Mbps line. My area does not support faster than 4 Mbps.
Telkom's website says:
http://www.telkom.co.za/sites/athome/productsandservices/internetandbroadband/adsl/#.U4L1OCjr2Gd
Faster ADSL up to 4 Mbps @ R 299.00 (ex phone line)
Fastest ADSL up to 10 Mbps @ R 425.00 (ex phone line)
So I am paying for the 10 Mbps "profile", but stuck on a "4 Mbps" profile.
I should call them and tell them to move me to the Faster ADSL up to 4 Mbps account option until my area does get 10 Mbps one day (which will never happen) correct?
