if u think about it sa got all the bw wwe need telkom just dont wanne share it go look at this link

http://www.safe-sat3.co.za/Awareness/Awareness.asp

just something u can read on the site

The link from South Africa to Malaysia has a total capacity of 130 Gigabits, giving it the potential to carry 6.28 million simultaneous telephone calls, 1.57 million 64kb/s data circuits or 2496 television channels. Cable faults are very expensive and create costs, which are ultimately paid by consumers of telephone, data and Internet services.

If this is true then why is happening what's happening I'm wondering. Maybe they're permanently fixing cables [xx(]

u forget that india and west africa also use sum of that bandwidth[:(]

i still dont get why if i break cap my dwnlds go at like 20bits/s. even if everybody on adsl broke cap that would be 10 000 x 20bits = 200kbit thats about two isdn accounts bandwidth 4 everybody that breaks cap!!![:(!]

If Telkom would open up the capped int. bandwidth so P2P programs can least go as fast as a norm dial-up then I wouldn't be so upset, as it is I can't even download the newest ver. of Cheating Death (272KB)...had to ask a mate to dl for me with his dial-up and e-mail it to me...thats plain SAD [V]
