just phoned telkom to find out what waiting period is to be connected to adsl when doing self-install. Operator says minimum 4 weeks for technicians to come and check if any faults on the line?? that sounds like *** to me.
Is this true? I remember seeing someone say it takes about a day ---*oops actualy said a week* --- on one of the threads... they just have to open your exchange or something. So should i try speak to someone else or go ask in store?
