Telkom screw up..

WTF..
So I have a 1gb telkom account. Its supposed to stop me at +/-1gb but yesterday it didn't and I went up to 1,7gb then decided that's enough coz I was afraid they are gonna charge me... So I disconnected and reconnected and viola I was on local only bandwidth, used about 3,9gb of it and disconnected again to use my afrihost account for some int stuff, but then when I reconnected to the telkom 1gb account which is supposed to be capped, it logged as a BLENDED session. :wtf:

So I wanna know if I will be charged for the bandwidth if rape the blended session..:confused:
 
Rape as much as you can.. they CANT charge you! It is their duty to stop you and if they dont you can just say you were trying to use local only and they left it on blended!... it has been done by all of us without any consequences!
 
Shame on you. Your over usage is costing them at least 5c.
 
Since Telkom is planning an uncapped ADSL offering, no problem. We just have to wait and see, what these offers includes!
 
This happened to me a while back on a 5GB account of theirs and you know whats my advise? This kind of thing happens once in a blue moon on an account, please don't let it go to waste, download until they notice and switch you back!!!!! or as you and Schwartz put it, Rape it :D
 
Awesome,i kept the connection alive with my handy auto refresh button,so from now im gonna leech till i cant leech no more.lol.thanx guys..torrents here i come,can give nzbs a rest for today. :D
 
...and so the raping ends..while i was in the shower it just seemed to switch to local only automatically...o well i got 3,8gb of int on a 1gb account..thats fine with me lol...back to my nzbs for now :D
 
I noticed this too......ended up getting 50GB...lol
same thing happened a couple of months ago...and they cant charge you as they are meant to cap you once you reach your limit. (I clarified this with them)

All my queued downloads are complete...feels good.

I assume you have a 4mb line?..I'm stuck with a 384kb line.. :(
