For once i got great service from Telkom, i applied for adsl once again and they contacted me and confiremd my details and said they will give me a call the next day which they did, to give me my ref no and was told i will be contacted moday which is today to be given a date of installation and once again they phoned me with great suprise i have no idea what is going on but hey im not complaining at all :D
 
Well it seems i'm having the opposite experience :mad:

About a month ago, i ordered my adsl line, a week later i foned them cause i hadn't got my reference number yet. Anyway they told me i had not ordered a line from them, so i had to start the whole prcedure again. I told them it was very urgent and they said they would mark it as "esculated" for immediate installation.

Once again, a week later i fone "oh, it seems we forgot to esculate the order"..... stupid bunch of fools... :D

Aparently the new waiting time from once ordering a line is 6-8 weeks :mad:
 
Its amazing what happens when u are polite and "slow" with the operator and sound very calm. Being tense and demanding is a no no.
 
funny thing when i phone with my cellc number to vodacom the number doesn't dail why is that? it only works with vodacom subscribers and home numbers?
