Telkom Sim Card days before it de-activate

I have a prepaid Telkom sim card which I converted to the smart broadband wireless option. So I basically use this in my dual sim phone only for the data purpose. I use the 5G+5GB option and load this option every month. My question is will this be enough to keep the sim card active?

Should be fine. As long as there is some activity on the card it will remain active.

Okay great, because I thought some calls must be made now and then to keep it active.

The rule is that the sim must be active on the network. Calls, sms or data....doesn't really matter as long as the sim is active.
