Telkom Sim on Vodacom Smart Kicka 2

I bought a Vodacom Smart kicka 2 from Game at a very good price of R500 and am very impress with the value for money but have one problem. I have a Telkom Sim and it works fine to make and receive calls and send SMS's but even though I have data on the sim, it doesn't seem to work on this phone but works fine when I put the Sim back in my old phone. If I connect it to WiFi at home, data works fine but as soon as I disconnect from WiFi, no internet.

I have Mobile data on and Roaming, but no luck. I tried it with the Vodacom Sim and put airtime and data on it and it works fine with that. Why wont it work with the Telkom Sim? Any ideas?

Your APN settings are most likely not setup. The device usually gets the APN settings pushed to it, but you most likely will need to do it manually.

Not sure if you can help ..

Bought the same phone (vodacom smart kicka 4 )
The lady had put in the vodacom sim at the store and everything was fine but when I got home and changed to telkom sim I can neither receive nor make calls .
Any suggestions please

Check that sim card works in other device, then insert simcard correctly while kicka is powered off.
In settings, network settings set network to auto.
