I looking at taking out Telkom simple deal @ R399 ..
Comes with router , free installation etc etc ...

Next question would be , can I continue paying the R399 , but sign up another ISP immediately for capped data package ?

Yes, you can use as many different ISP accounts as you like. No restrictions.

Also - try not to sign a 24 month contract.

Simple can be month 2 month so basically score free install as well as router plus 5gb inclusive data and calling plan ..

My question is can i then immediately use a differnet ISP ? utilize the 5gb data from Telkom and then get additional data from another ISP ? How would i do this ? would same router work .. ?

You actually get 10GB with that R399 deal. My dad has it. It's also soft capped, so between midnight and 7am you can go nuts with your downloads.

Thanks to the link MickeyD send I’ve noticed that the terms and conditions of the product have some limitations.
It is a very attractive offer for new customers though.

Customer must sign a compulsory debit order and 24 month sales agreement to pay off the device
Qualifying existing voice customers must do a self install.

Ok, yes, 24 month contract.

Decent in my take. 20GB @ 4Mbps and 00:00-07:00 it becomes uncapped. R500 not that much too. Just add the telephone linen rental.
