Telkom Simple Uncapped

Hi all,

I have been on mobile broadband the past 2 years so I'm completely out of the loop. Got Telkom Simple Uncapped 1Mbps, and I wanted to change to Mweb like I had 2 years ago. But I see on these forums that people are saying that Telkom isn't that bad these days. Should I stick with the normal Telkom Simple Uncapped product or switch to another ISP?

Here is what kind of user I am:

Online gaming on Xbox and PS3
Wife likes to youtube, a lot
Downloading games on Xbox and PS3
Lots of emails for work
Google drive for work with some big folders
Occasional torrent

One more question. Does anyone know whether Telkom will automatically upgrade the product speed when they upgrade 1mbps to 2mbps for free or will I have to arrange this, and will I pay more because its uncapped?

Or torrent between midnight and 6am. I get full line speed during those times on P2P.

Now that depends on your download behaviour. If you download 24/7 your will get throttled around 120GB or so but if you schedule most of your downloads between 12-6am you will get way more traffic than 120GB. The one time I did get throttled it was to about 40-45kB/s

... but it seems you get throttled to 25% of your account speed.
