Telkom SMTP sloooow?

Telkoms mail servers, to put it mildly, are ****.

They've had issues for months now - I know, because I've heard countless people in my offices who haven't been able to get mail to people on Telkom accounts or receive from them. I think at one point last year, the mail servers were ineffective for 3 days.

Bottom line, get yourself a mail account that isn't associated with Telkoms mail servers ...

slow SMTP

I've had the same experience with Telkom SMTP server for the last few months - emails are delayed sometimes for a few hours
 
"Temp Block on Yahoo Mail"

The smtp server now reports that there is a "temp block on yahoo mail" and won't deliver any email to @yahoo.com accounts !
 
Call 0800 375 375 and listen to the voice! People must have been moaning like mad for them put that up there.
 
I think they reset something last night on the SMTP server. Know of a few people who send some stuff last night from home to work and nothing has arrived
 
This is just dumb! Telkom really should have things like this well in hand.
