Hi,

This morning I got my adsl details, or so I think.

It says: Welcome, my account is now active. Provides username (and email, which is the same) and a temporary password.

I have looked all over their website, and have no idea where to login, nor do the details work from my router.

I tried to activate but doesn't even load the page....

Guess I am going to have to call them!

I got the same SMS today but can't log in with the supplied UN/PW in the password manager,usage tracker or webmail.

Any ideas?

Case and character sensitive. Make sure theres no dot (.)at the end. Also upper case I (i) might look like a lower case l (l). Makes sense?

Telkom sent me wrong details at first. Had to reset password and it worked the second time. Took me ages to realise it was this error.

I also had the same thing a few weeks ago, I think they purposely make it complicated so that a basic user will call someone in for setup and pay the R500 fee. The password was basically hieroglyphics, between 3 people we couldn't work it out(tried different variations so we had to reset the password, it was definitely wrong), so we had to call the call center from hell, 2 hours on the line and then they closed at &^#&@ 8pm, so we had to call them the next day and wait for an hour to be passed to 3 different agents to reset a password?

The router connected wirelessly but it could only be setup with the LAN cable or it wouldn't work and then they force you to use that stupid CD which is kinda buggy. 0/10 Telkom.
