Telkom subscriber numbers are down - with one exception

I hope Telkom recovers, for the first time in my life I was able to game online consistently without any issues on their LTE DATA.
 
It's hard to lose out on their only product that mostly still works.

The other offerings are just terrible and expensive, and mostly doesn't work.
 
telkom no or bad service no farm in great karoo have any more phone not client oriented anymore as few years ago have to hang over 60 min before get help from 10210 etc
 
Maybe they are improving their service too. I reported an internet problem last Thursday via the website. On Saturday a technician called me on my cell to say that they had found some problem and fixed it. On Monday I had 2 technicians at the front door to check on my ADSL line.
That was really good and the problem seems to be fixed.
 
Of course their fixed line customers numbers are dropping big time, since they are forcing people off it even when they don't want to be off it.
 
Shame, Telkom would always be known as the monopoly that couldn't monop despite all the boost it got.

The service levels are horrible at Telkom. And the landline phone is just too expensive compared to cellphone line.

The rental of the line should be free or less than R50. Maybe they should think of bundling the landline with mobile deals just like they are doing with ADSL.

And then fix service levels.

They have this huge underutilized infrastructure that they can't use to bring in income to self sustain.
