Guys,
I believe that if RPM can present a "ballpark" package the market requires, it will do a lot of good.
As a business user, I would love something in the line of:
Current upload/download advertised speeds realised
Bandwidth:
Local: Unlimited; Contention ration better than 1 in 20
International: 2GB per month at Contention ration better than 1 in 30 and above better than 1 in 100
The option of purchasing additional international bandwidth online with immediate implementation
No port prioritisation
Seperation during business hours of home/gamers on bandwidth
4 Fixed IP addresses (It will save me a lot of money as I then will be able to run inhouse mail and DNS servers)
Costing: Competitive with the offerings in the US, Canada en UK as was listed in these forums.
I still hold the opinion that Telkom is murdering small business and it high pricing schedules is in part at fault when one sees all the unemployment. What whould I rather do: Pay Telkom for 64 kb Internet connectivity, or employ another member of staff?
Unfortunately, I have to pay Telkom their robbers' rates (compared to our trading partners) as I won't have a business otherwise.
I'm sure the gamers and home users will be able to provide similar suggestions to their needs.
