Hey all.....

Telkom provided a Netgear model DGN2200 router with a Telkom mobile starter pack with which a D-Link 3G dongle is supplied, model DWM-157:wtf:.

The problem is this dongle is not supported by the router. There is also no firmware update via the supplied url, netgear.co.za/telkom. Good God, how can you provide the two without ensuring there is a firmware upgrade?

PM'd TelkomZA and he/she can't tell me if and when will this be provided.

Anyways, anyone know of a firmware update that wont brick the router but will provide the latest updates?

Regards

You should have never touched those Telkom branded routers, they cause real headaches! AFAIK one can't flash them with factory firmware from the non-ISP models, but I'd give it a try if you can track down the model on Netgear's website
