Telkom Tower Location Rooihuiskraal/Centurion?

Hi Peeps,

Do anyone maybe know the Telkom Tower Locations more or less? I want to take a drive and test the speed per tower, if I find a good one I want to point my Antenna to that tower

see coverage map, look for the rockets, they are the rough tower locations for LTE but I guess also 3G in most cases:

Wow, you wont believe how I struggled. Telkom is so useless they could not tell me this. I did not know the Uncapped towers are the same as the capped ones. Thank you!

Do you know if I point the LTE antenna to another tower if it will connect(If I'm within range). I have done a 360 but it kept the same CellID

You will connect to the strongest signal at that moment. A far away tower may be too far to connect to and therefore you will always connect to the same CellID. Otherwise get a moerse big directional antenna and point it to a specific tower.

I will test over the weekend. Wonder if there is a way of forcing it to a specific Tower
