Telkom trying to reach me

I've received the SMS confirming the installation date for my landline, but every time Telkom tries to phone me, the line is just dead quiet. They have phoned a few times, and I'm concerned that they will try to phone me on the day and not get hold of me.

Has anyone experienced this before? Obviously, my cellphone in not the problem.

I remember from them trying to phone me last year for one of their specials I had applied for.

Yep, your number gets queued in an automated system. It dials your number, but takes a while for someone to "pick up" your call.
