Telkom Underhanded Negotiations BCX deal?

Telkom + underhanded in the same sentence - how unusual and unfair....
:D

LOL! Any company who sells out to Telkom runs the risk of being flogged off in bits a couple of years down the line. Telkom will never be able to withstand proper competition unless government continues to protect it. Sell out to Telkom today and risk being flogged off in pieces tomorrow... Simple. Very much like squishing your finger in a mincer while it is on. Pointless.

Well if I were the other shareholders I will refuse to sell out and get the benefit later when Telkom buy the 50%+ . Telkom is hard up and BCX should stand firm for much higher price, unless the shareholders were offered one of the NDA agreements as side addition to the offer as Telkom is reknown for their redefined NDA inventions to cheat others.
Can do with a nice cottage in Knysna! Hehe

Slightly off topic but . . it makes me wonder - has anyone ever worked out how many shares you'd have to own in Telkom so that the dividends would be greater than the annual cost of having adsl?

Back on topic - I dont think that I would ever be able to trust telkom. Their credibility is just far too low in my eyes.

Well last financial year the total dividend was R9 per share, share price now about R160-00 ( expecting bigger dividends I reckon ). You do the sums for how much your adsl costs. I'd need about 2000 shares which would cost > R320k.

Or have I got the sums wrong?
