What is the catch then? Where is the FUP hidden? I'm really struggling to believe that I can get a 4mbps service and download 24/7.
 
I signed up for it last month .. . i got 4mbps up / 4mbps down at 102 gigs per month loaded on my profile , with unlimited after that at 128Kbps , so that is the FUP ... 100Gig. I use the b593 LTE . The new 100 gig + 100 gig nitghttime at full speed might be a better package at 999. I'm happy with mine though.
 
My bad. Seems to be a different deal, I saw 4mbps and assumed a TI uncapped package was involved.

Hmmm...so it is in fact very limited. After 100gb they "limit" your account. That alone can be a very good argument against them.

100gb sounds good though. Do you use it for gaming?

Yes , I do PS4 gaming and downloads mostly , latency local at 20 -30 ms on the b593 ( think they now give a 3g router , i got the lte one ) .
Last night watched some hd youtube with no hiccups , still have 80 gigs left for Sept...
 
The only part keeping me from this deal now is the 24 month contract. Sigh, sounds good but not good enough. Thank you for the replies!

Yip , 24 is a lifetime , and you can upgrade your package later , but not downgrade to a lower one.

Trenches have been dug and fiber has been laid on our street. Might be able to connect to that soon. I'm never touching any contract deals ever again. I don't like signing options away.
 
Would expect the FUP of 100GB to be mentioned as part of the deal. Pretty bad deal then compared to the R999 100 + 100 LTE deal.

Also looks like they prefer people to take the deal on 3G and not LTE.

What gets me more is them advertising "The most unlimited network"
 
I agree. I'm pretty sure that they could be taken to task here for using the word "unlimited". ISPs had gotten away with it previously because they used the word "uncapped", technically not "unlimited".

Now there's a very clear limit on a package labelled unlimited.

Are you limited to the amount of complaints on the asasa? If not I'll be posting a complaint today. Only asking because I have complained about a company on there this year which I won (if it really is winning). This isnt like ccma where you cant just complain about everything.
