Hello,

I am on 4mb/s a second and hopefully i will get upgraded...
but i want to ask will i be able to tell i have been upgraded by much faster download speeds?

because i cant check the sync speed cuz im locked out of my router (forgotten password) so how will i be able to know if im ever upgraded?

you do know that u can reset the modem to factory defaults by holding down the reset button for longer than usual??

You should feel the speed increase. The line speed is doubling after all.

Have you tried resetting your router? At least then you can log into it and check for yourself.

Reset router to default... then use default user and pass to get in...

Your internet speedometer will show a higher speed and you will get more bandwidth traffic fines.

i dont think i have a reset button...
but even if i do, how do i get my internet back after i do?

enter account details as from your internet service provider in the required fields, save and reboot modem. if your have wifi setup , you may have to enter additional settings before hand.

You can also check your Connection speed and Lateny at Speedtest.

If there isn't an obvious reset button vissible on the router it might be one of those stupid little pin hole reset switches that you need to press with a thin object.
