Telkom upgrade spells doom?

So Telkom will give me a data capped account with an No Limit: Account Speed.

Is this why my Afrihost connection has gone from 15 ms to 1400 ms in the evenings? I literally can no longer use the internet ...

In short no.

Telkom accounts have always been capped and "no speed limit" you got full line speed on Telkom accounts by default. It is only now that they have started bringing in uncapped accounts that they have introduced the "speed limited" accounts.
