My router said from day one when I got DSL my DSLAM was 'fast' and attainable rate 6500 odd mbits.
This weekend line went down and when it synced again DSLAM was now announcing 'ADSL2' and attainable rate 8800mbs. Router still sync at 4096 though.
The funny part is that my up speed is now 507 instead of 512 so no biggie, just interesting.
Sad part is I'm moving in 4 weeks time so I prob wil never taste the 8mb goodness and no idea what lies in store for me at my new house.
